I helped during the workshop about communication. Kids were learning how to communicate properly. This, I think, is important, so they would be able to react properly in different situations and talk about they needs or comments in future. Lessons like this make it easier to reach an agreement or make oneself understood.

It is first time in this season we had to play with Storm and unfortunately we lost. The difference in points was not that big, but not that small either. It was 13 points. At the beginning, however, we were leading. It was the fourth quarter that we neglected and they took advantage of it. Now with two games lost we need to really do our best, because the way to finals is not closed yet.

Apart from playing basketball I also attend PE lessons.

As I described few posts earlier apart from human faces I also practice drawing mandalas. Now I wanted to make it colourful, so I decided to make some kind of a colouring book illustration. So I have drawn a shape and the whole mandala with a pencil, then corrected it with a fine-tip felt pen. After that I just stressed myself out while colouring it with some markers.

The workshop I was to assist this time concerned the topic of democracy. Kids learned some basic stuff about how it works and what is it. They also made some posters with their own democratic island. I think it is very important that children are taught about this particular system when they are younger, because it rises their awareness in the future.

This was our first game with Lynx in this season and we managed to play it good. This was the victory we needed after our last failure with Sparks. We won by 18 points which gave us some precious points to rise from our negative score, which we partly did right now. Still we need to beat our next opponent to have a positive number of points. As usually I am very satisfied with the way our team plays. It becomes visible that we get on better with every match.

This time I came back to one of my favourite techniques, which is coal. I drew a simple portrait of a fisherman, as a part of my practice and focus on people’s faces. I’m experimenting with different facial features right now just to learn how to draw different people. And this face of a fisherman was a part of my study.

This time I helped during a workshop about how to deal with unrealistic expectations. I think that this is one of the topics that we all know well, so it’s important that there are classes like this. Because people who took part in the workshop were rather teenagers about my age, I didn’t need to look after them as much. Therefore I had more time to actually listen to the lecturer and maybe benefit from it. In one of the groups there were also too few teens, so I had to join them in one of the exercises.

As always at the beginning of new season in a league we had our teams training. We practiced some new game tactics and moves. We also welcomed our new teammate. I am very happy to start a new season, so we can try to make our way to the final again. It is also great to see that everybody is excited to start a new season and is eager to play and achieve.

This time I decided to make something other than another sketch using coal and pencil. Therefore I came up with this idea of making a poster. It can maybe also be called a collage, cause it consists of few techniques combined with each other. I mostly used acrylic paint in warm colours such as red, yellow and gold. I also used some old newspapers and cut them and then painted in different colours. Buddha in the middle is painted from a stencil. The background behind him is painted with a yellow spray.
