Creativity – drawing

As I have said in previous post, lately I am focused on practicing the technique of drawing human faces. This image portraits a man. Once again I used coal and pencil in this work. I needed to make the picture colourless except one element. For his eyes I used brown crayon, because I wanted them to be calm and balanced. This time I didn’t want them to be too bright. Still the viewer is to look him into eyes. I gave him three piercings, I just thought they would match and make the image “more interesting”. I wanted him to look natural, so his hair are in a bit of a disarray. Apart from that he has a tattoo of Buddhist symbol of infinity. This is a suggestion that he may be a Buddhist or maybe the symbol has some special meaning to him.
